Excellent experience, would rate it with a 10!

We had an amazing cooking class with these three lovely girls, Sticky, Oi and Shampoo, that made this experience even better. They are very energetic, funny and smiley. They picked us up at our hotel, took us to the local market, where they showed and taught us about the typical Thai Spices, ingredients, veggies, etc. After that we went to their place, where the cooking class was held. The place is very nice, clean and cosy. They made the cooking class super interesting, even for those who don’t like to cook. We had a great time, learned and not to mention the delicious dishes we prepared! It was the best experience we had in Chiang Mai and I would highly recommend you take the cooking class at the Zabb e Lee. You will have a great time learning new cooking skills, Thai culture and meet new people.

Fun and delicious cooking experience!

Totally recommend doing this class if you’re interested in learning more about the ingredients used in Thai dishes, if you like cooking or if you like eating! I have some cooking experience but I think even if you don’t know how to cook anything you can make some delicious dishes at this class, the ingredients are pre-prepared for you and instructions are given so you can follow along easily. Kiss kiss, our instructor, is friendly, nice and funny and knows everything about the fresh ingredients we used to make the dishes. Our class all had so much fun cooking, laughing, taking photos and eating!! You can’t eat everything you make unless you’re very very hungry, but they’ll pack it in to-go bags so you can have another meal later! Try it! You will have fun!

My favorite part of the trip!

First of all, request Art as your cooking instructor, you will not be disappointed. He is so fun and friendly, I wish he could have come with us for the rest of our Thailand trip just to hang out! Second, I never cook and generally don't like to, so the fact that it was my favorite part of the trip speaks for itself. Third, the food is actually really really good. We compared every restaurant we went to with the food we made here and always liked the food we made better! If you are on the fence, definitely sign up, you will have a great time.

Great fun and great food

We really enjoyed this. A trip to the local market to get the ingredients and then a ride to the cooking school. We made many dishes and could select from 3 for most courses, so within our group of 9 most of the meals were being cooked, which was good to see. The cooking was straightforward, and yielded food that tasted really good. It was all done with great fun by Kiss Kiss who was our teachers for the evening. Really worth doing this when you are in the area, it was up there with the best meals we ate!
